Perhaps this site is a long time coming. What has been an amazing ride has taken me all over (and even around) the world...

About Erik...

As of the writing of this text, I have flown on over 1800 verified flights for a total of over 2,500,000 miles (thats 4,050,000 km outside the USA!) on 800+ unique routes between 230 airports.

Feel free to check out the flight log located at myFlightradar24! (I also am the host of the flightradar24 transponder EVRA-1, for over 5 years now)!

So where has 5900 miles in the air gotten me - besides flying the equivalent of 100 times around the world at the equator? I have visited 127 countries/territories, flying 115 different airlines, in 95 unique aircraft types along the way.

I have flown "business or better" in 55% of all flights where there is more than just economy service and spent time in 215 different premium class lounges (many of them quite a few times)!

Will write about experiences on trips over 40 years...

Qatar Airways "Al Safwa" First Class Lounge - have actually met Mr. Al Baker here. This lounge is like a museum, complete with a wall of water and indoor waterfall! Two restaurants, bars, a spa, duty free shop, etc etc. 2016.
